The Lynx have acquired the rights to two top local players Thomas Farrell and Nathaniel McLeod from the Temiscaming Titans! Lynx Sign Local Nipissing First Nation Member
The Lynx are extremely excited to announce the signing of 2000 defenseman Blake Beaucage, a member of Nipissing First Nation! Assistant general manager Bruno Vezina had this to say about the signing "We are proud to have signed our very first Nipissing First Nation's player. At 5'7'' and 200 lbs, Blake will ensure stability on our back end. Albeit his size, Blake does not shy away from physical play and is very reliable in the defensive zone". Lynx Sign Another Local
The West Nipissing Lynx are proud to announce they have signed Braden Simon from Warren, ON. Braden is a young 2001 forward with great size at 6'3'' and 200 lbs. General Manager Patrick Miron has this to say about the signing "Braden is an amazing young talent. He already has the Junior size at a very young age and he possesses all of the necessary tools in order to succeed at this level. Braden will be a force along the boards and as a net front presence for years to come".

The Lynx are proud to welcome Lawson Yatkowsky to the team! Lawson is a 1998, 5'9'' 180 lbs forward from Gerladton, ON who prides himself on establishing a physical presence on the ice. Assistant coach Mathieu Gaudette said this "Lawson is exactly the type of player we need on our team. LYNX DRAFT 15 PLAYERS AT GMHL DRAFT
The West Nipissing Lynx wrapped up the GMHL draft on Saturday May 15th with 15 new players chosen. Daniil Dmitriyev, a 1998 born Russian forward was the Lynx's first round pick and third overall. Dimitriyev, a skilled forward played last season with HC Slovan Bratislava, a U18 team in Slovakia. He registered 88 points including 29 goals in 42 games.
