Lynx Re-Sign #67 Forward Max Piquette!
The West Nipissing Lynx are proud to announce they have re-signed local forward Max Piquette for a second season!
Max rejoins the Lynx after a very successful rookie campaign where he tallied 2 goals and 12 assists for a total of 14 points in 40 games. Max was a consistent player throughout the course of last season and we saw continuous improvements in his game as the season went along. Max is the type of player that can contribute offensively and play alongside some of our top players when called upon but is also very sound defensively.
We anticipate Max will have a very successful second season as he's been hard at work since the end of last year building on his strength and conditioning in order to reach his goal of being a top Junior player. Being a year older and having a full year of Junior experience now under his belt, combined with the fact that he has recently gained in excess of 20 pounds, we are positive Max will reach that goal in a Lynx uniform for years to come. We are extremely excited to have Max join us again as he is one of Sturgeon Falls finest young talents and leaders for young fans.
