Lynx Add Former Soo Greyhounds Forward Jesse Soltys

The West Nipissing Lynx are happy to announce they have added another former GNML player.

From Sault Ste. Marie, the 1999 born Jesse Soltys will be joining the Lynx organization for his first Junior year and will be wearing #8.

Jesse is a 5'7" 155 lbs forward who spent last season with the Soo Greyhounds Midget AAA team in the GNML where he tallied 6 goals and 10 assists for a total of 16 points in 25 games.

Albeit having a smaller frame, Jesse possesses a relentless attitude and heart that allows him to compete at a high level game in and game out. His play speaks for itself as he lays it all on the line for his team during every shift. Jesse's competitiveness and understanding of a two-way game first type of mentality is what will make him a successful Junior player this upcoming season and for years to come.

Our coaches are extremely thrilled to add a player like Jesse as they believe he is not only a leader by action on the ice but also a tremendous young man off the ice which leads into his leadership qualities even at such a young age.
