Lynx Sign Forward Andrei Zayats From Belarus
The West Nipissing Lynx are proud to announce they have signed 2000 born Belarusian forward Andrei Zayats for the upcoming 2017-2018 campaign.
Andrei is a 5'11" 165 lbs forward with a left handed shot hailing from Soligorsk, Belarus. After spending last season with Shakter Soligorsk-2 in the Belarus2 league, Sergei is ready to make the jump across the world to come pursue his dream of playing Junior hockey here in Canada.
Andrei is a great two-way forward who understands he must take care of his own end first. His vision and attention to detail and positioning makes him a great asset and reliable player for the Lynx down the stretch. We are excited to work with Andrei to continuously improve his game and bring him and the Lynx to the next level!
