Lynx Add 1996 D-Man Luke Gibb
The West Nipissing Lynx are proud to announce they have signed veteran D-Man Luke Gibb from Largo, Florida.
Luke is a 1996 born right handed 6'2" 205 lbs D who spent last season with the Tampa Bay Juniors of the USP3HL along with a 1 game stint with the Utah Outliers of the WSHL. With Tampa Bay, Luke managed to put up 11 goals and 8 assists for a total of 19 points in 23 games.
We are excited to bring in an experienced veteran presence to our back end. His right handed shot along with size will bring much needed stability and depth to our D core. His ability to contribute offensively is underrated as well as he has a great shot and an ability to find the open man exiting the zone and on the power play. We look forward to having Luke help our younger D's with his leadership and guidance on and off the ice.
