Lynx Add Another Local Forward - Will Michaud
The West Nipissing Lynx are proud to announce they have signed another top local forward!
Will Michaud, a 1999 born forward measuring 6' and weighing 165 lbs will be joining the Lynx family for the upcoming 2017-2018 season!
Will is a Left shooting Centre who spent last season with the French River Rapids of the NOJHL where he finished 4th in team scoring tallying a total of 11 goals and 9 assists, for 20 points in 54 games.
Will is a relentless hard working player who strives on getting to the dirty areas all while being incredibly disciplined. His attention to the defensive zone and his back pressure are also key components of his game that make him a tremendous full 200' player.
These qualities also did not go unnoticed by other teams and other leagues. Will is attending the OHL's Peterborough Petes training camp in August as he hopes to crack their lineup!
We wish Will the best of luck at his camp but the Lynx family will be waiting should the Petes feel his development be best suited with another dominating year of Tier II Junior Hockey.
